This has been going on for years now. We are not able to join each other's Minecraft world in PS4. We are only able to join each other if we go on the old version of Minecraft in the ps4. Which is extremely boring and sucks all the fun out of the game because we are not able to experience all the new things together. We've tried deleting and reinstalling the game but we still get the same error "Unable to connect to world." This is very discouraging since the only reason we both got the game was to play with each other, but thanks to this glitch it feels like a complete waste of money. I believe I included a picture of how each of our screens look whenever we try to join each other

The best I can suggest is pray that Mojang sees this and fixes it because there is no other fix that I have tried. You could also try to play on another device.

There is no picture. I have been having the same issue on mobile. What works the best for us is saving and quitting and then rejoining the world.
