My friend on PS4 cannot join anyone.

Hello! So me and my friend have been trying to solve this problem for over a week now. (Laptop and PS4) We started our world and we could normally join and play together. Then one day all of a sudden she wasn't able to join. It would keep saying ''joining to a multiplayer world'' and then she would get a message that its been loading for too long. We have tried resetting her PS4, turning Minecraft off and on, re-logging, and most things we could have possibly thought of. I tried using a different account on a different laptop but she still wasn't able to join the other account. Weird thing is that I can normally join her worlds and we can both play on public servers but she can't join private worlds, for example, the one that we made. We also tried removing data and loading it back in but still nothing. Uninstalling and installing it again also didn't work. We don't wanna lose our progress so please help us solve this issue!
