PLEASE FIX MINECRAFT FOR PLAYSTATION

So I've been playing minecraft ps4 for a long time and I've never head issues untill they made one of their newer updates that changed the menu and added the use of skins and mods. This then I've struggled to join a friends game and whenever I get into the game my chunks won't load, blocks take ages to break and all around thing just don't load right at all. It is practically unplayable and it only happens to me out of my friend group. It ha smithing to do with my internet or my connection. I've cleared out my cache and my hard drive is in perfect condition. The only over game it has ever had a similar issue to this is when I played farming simulator 19. Other than that no over game has done this. I'm very annoyed that I cannot play the game properly at all it has practically wasted my money and I can no longer have any fun while playing. I really need this bug fixed or I need someone to help me with what to do.
