No. It is not resolved as of 06/27/2020.
Let's say I want a furnace.
I open my crafting table.
I have all the supplies I need for the furnace.
The table has the furnace as available, but if I hover the cursor over it, the recipe does not appear in the 9 square craft boxes.
If I click to create it, then the recipe appears the way it should have to begin with. Complete with red for missing items.
Now, this is fine and dandy for items I know how to make. But it is totally useless for items I do not know how to make.
For instance... a target block.
I know a target block requires a hay bale, but I dont know the other parts. I put the hale bale in my inventory and open my crafting table.
The target block appears in red to the left, so I put my cursor over it. NOTHING shows on the 9 square recipe blocks.
I click on it, NOTHING happens on the recipe squares.
I was able to see the items I am missing before the 1.16 update. I am sure this has to do with synchronizing PC versions with console versions, because my husband plays bedrick on PC and he cam click on a red item to see what is missing.
We cannot see the recipe on the Xboxone.

This is not just an Xbox 1 issue, it's at issue on Bedrock Edition in general. I'm on PC and no matter if I'm in creative or survival the recipe's don't show up.

I want to add and apologize to you all. You CAN click on the the blue x and get the recipe to appear now. I figured it out totally by accident while frustrated on my xbox one. Literally right after submitting this report.
So... for the awesome staff, sorry. I just wish when I submitted the first report you said "try pressing the blue x on your controller."
As to the PC edition. To view a recipe on the crafting table... My hubby says for bedrock PC you need to left clock while hovering over the item you want to build.
