I expected no mobs to spawn at or near my house in survival mode after thoroughly covering the area with many bright torches. Instead, 3 spiders and 3 creepers spawned in my house in less than 30 minutes for no apparent reason. It wasn't like this before the nether update.

Just saying mobs are spawning in your house isn't enough as the house may just not be adequately lit.
Screenshots of the areas where mobs are spawning is essential.
