We have Minecraft for the Nintendo Switch, there are a very small number of worlds (4) with 3 of them being only 10-20mb in size. Our main world is at 400mb and while exploring yesterday to look for new biomes the game closed and we were given a message about there not being enough space and to maybe delete some old worlds. Our Switch currently has 17GB free on the system itself and 71GB free on the SD card so we're not sure how space can be an issue, especially with the world size only being 400mb.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello IonicEcko, looking at the thread that you linked the initial issue in that problem seems to be related to downloading things that were purchased, I'm not sure if that's the same thing here. We haven't purchased anything from the marketplace or have any packs, etc. I see in the comments to that thread that someone in the comments to that thread is having a similar issue, but again, neither their nor our problem are related to downloading purchases, texture packs, extras, etc. This is just an unaltered version of Minecraft that is saying there's not enough space (and with a much smaller world size than the other person in that thread, world only half the size). If you think they're caused by the same problem then consolidating them is fine but given the differences I'm not sure conflating the issues is best.
