Baby Goats don't seem to be able to go up blocks unless they super jump. I tested a couple different ways to prove this before coming here. I tried trapping it with the only way out just 1 block up, I tried hitting it, and I tried combining the two with no results. The baby goat just stayed there trapped just 1 block up, taking the occasional punches.
Going down is also an issue, but I don't mean walking down blocks. Baby goats don't seem to register there is no block under them if you break it when they are standing on it. They only register that there's no block once they try moving. If the baby goat is standing still, it will just stay flying in the air after you break the block under it.
Adult goats don't have the same issues going up or falling as the Baby goats do.
