There is a high possibility that I would like a refund. I only bought this game about 3 weeks ago on PS4. At first there was only little issues so it wasn't horrible. So I bought a couple of theme packs and thought nothing of it. Now the last few days the game has been unplayable. From freezing on the home screen. To crashing every time I load a world. To having to delete my character because the game refused to load it. $35 isn't much but it's starting to feel like I threw it in the trash. I've never had to deal with these kind of game breaking bugs on a major console in my 25 years of gaming.
While looking for fixes I've seen some of these bugs are brand new and some have been around for years and Mojang simply hasn't bothered to try to fix them. Great game for my kids but not worth the money if it's not going to work.

This is a bug reporting tracker run by volunteers so please note that any discussions around your account or monetary compensation of any kind would have to be taken up with Mojang's Customer Support (linked below).
In regards to reporting bugs, if existing reports for the bugs you are experiencing exist, please head over to those and give them a vote. It helps Mojang in understanding how many people are impacted by an issue.
If you can find no other report describing your issue, feel free to create a new one with detail on what the issue is and steps on how someone would reproduce it. When you do though please make sure you select the Minecraft (Bedrock codebase) project as this project is only for the dedicated server software.
You may also find that the community support have fixes for the most common issues, heading over there and asking them for help may also help in finding a solution.
Regarding this specific report though, because its more aimed at a general concern of stability rather than a specific bug report I'll be closing it off. Best of luck in getting your issues sorted.
