Connection Issues

I am also having this issue on my win10 laptop

I dont know if its a problem with the realm since we both play on it

I'm getting the same error on a locally hosted server when I try to log in. I'm running Antergos Linux. It began happening after I placed a minecart.

Playing on a private server, when I placed a mine cart and hopped in, it kicked me out with this error message. It continued to log me out whenever I logged back in. A friend went and destroyed my remaining mine cart and then I was able to log back in.

To verify the bug, I placed the mine cart on a different portion of track, and as soon as I jumped in it kicked BOTH of us out of the game, and the server started throwing all kinds of errors trying to log in.

We had to restart the server (it was spinning up one CPU at full bore).

Vanilla server, vanilla clients running 1.9.1.

Update: My friend is now able to log in after restarting the server. However as soon as I log in, it kicks him and I don't manage to connect. I get about a frame of game before it kicks me, and it seems like I'm still in a mine cart – however the mine cart no longer appears in the server when my friend views it, so he can no longer punch it away.

Got the same message but with a boat on a local server. Singleplayer works though.

I tried logging in with another account on that server, worked, but there was no boat. I keep getting the error message, so I don't know what to further try.

My guess is that multiplayer servers will also not work. havent tried.

Seems several others are having this; possible duplicate reports at MC-100285 (mine own) and MC-100283

Mojang would probably recommend people to post screenshots in the comments. Maybe try and refrain from not posting pics.

I'm getting the same issue.
Client (on Windows 10) apparently automatically updated to 1.9.1 this morning.
Updated my local servers because the 1.9.1 client wouldn't connect to the 1.9.0 servers.
Joined one of the servers.
Got into a boat.
Got kicked with the above exception.
Now get immediately kicked with the same exception every time I connect.
Have tried restarting client and server multiple times.

If you have anyone else that you know having this issue, recommend this post please.

A workaround is to connect to the 1.9.1 server with the 1.9.1-pre3 client. The two versions are compatible. May not work with Realms.

The above workaround (1.9.1-pre3 client) worked with my local servers.
At least it allowed me to connect and get out of my boat.

Workaround for anyone with access to the player data files:

You can fix yourself. Follow the first several steps at the link below to open up your player data (need UUID for a given player's name).

Probably make a backup of the player data file just in case.

In NBTExplorer, delete the RootVehicle node in the data tree. Save and replace back where it came from.

This worked to get me out of the minecart that didn't exist, and stopped booting my friend whenever I logged on.

I was able to reproduce this. Connected to a server without problems, entered a minecart, instantly got this error.

Reconnecting with 1.9.1pre3 worked, and I was inside the minecart.

If you are on a realm, 1.9.1-pre3 client will not work, it is outdated

Supposedly Searge fixed it but my client is still not working

stil getting this error on realms server 2 second of view before closing to this message ( internal exception io.netty.handler.codec.decoderexception:inatArray with size 2 is bigger than allowed 1 )

I'm still having the issue. I'm on a windows 10 machine.

I can actually play on my realm now. Ubuntu 15.10

i have the same error on my windows 10 client but my server hosted myself on my ubuntu server i aint using realms but same error

All the players can play on my realm now (at 1.9.1). 1.9.2 has been released is it working on your realms?

Yes it is working on mine my cousin posted this and he is on my realm so i guess I can answer for him

Umm.... Okay in some servers it says "We Are Still In 1.9" will I be able to play in those servers anymore?

My client is not updating Minecraft to 1.9.2.
