Leads Disappear in 1.9

When you attach a mob, such as this horse to a lead, an error occurs. If you go away far enough to unload and go back to reload a chunk, the lead line connecting the fence post and mob vanishes, but still functions properly. Sometimes, even the piece on the fence post will vanish. I tested this in all vanilla 1.9, 1.9.1, and 1.9.2.
