If you are having your cool elytra on with some armor who has the enchantment Respiration your Elytra is going invisible. I tested it out on a ocean while building a project, and if your invisible wings are blocking the sight of water you can see through, like, it was not there! It works on MC 1.9.2 and are tested with no items in the main hand or off hand.

I found that they didn't report that any armor with Respiration or playing on a singeplayerworld whould do that too, and im cinda new too this.

It's transparent when having any kind of enchantment on any armour part.
