On 1.9 or higher patches minecraft becomes unplayable due to extreme low FPS in SINGLEPLAYER even in the menu. If I go to ANY previous patch the game runs fine.
I get about 2-3 FPS in the menu and 1 FPS in game. Previously I was getting 20-30 FPS in game.
I am not using any mods. I have however tried optifine to see if that would solve it and it did not.
Please fix game is COMPLETELY unplayable.

Attached the crash report
I have tried all the listed details such as updating drivers and turning vsync and vbos and giving it 2gb ram and ya I've tried everything.
I had precisely this same problem yesterday, and today if I try to launch 1.9+ the game crashes as soon as I try to enter a single player world. I'll attach an error report, if that's helpful.
Both of you have outdated & broken Intel graphics card drivers:
@unknown
OpenGL: Intel(R) HD Graphics GL version 4.3.0 - Build 10.18.15.4248, Intel
@unknown
C [ig75icd64.dll+0x524fdc]
Update to version 15.xx.xx.xx, see MC-32606
Actually incorrect I am on the LATEST intel graphics patch. I am on a microsoft surface and Intel doesn't handle the patches Microsoft does as the surface uses custom drivers.
So no my drivers have been checked and they are up to date according to Microsofts drivers. (from their website for surface updates)
So the problem THEN would be that Minecraft is not properly supporting older drivers or Surface Drivers.
