Frame time graph is not showing up while hitting alt+f3, on linux ubuntu. However, on the same machine with windows 10 it is working as it should.

The issue is caused by a conflict with the alt key. Since for certain desktop environments, alt is used to grab windows, holding it along with another key does not pass the key press onto the program. I don't know if this is something can can be fixed within the game.

I am currently using Unity, maybe it is a conflict with Unity/HUD which uses tha alt key too. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Unity/HUD

edit: nope changing hud's key to something else doesn't fix it.

I have the same issue using Gnome 3, since alt is used to grab windows.

Is this still an issue in the latest snapshot 16w44a? If so please update the affected versions.
