I am unable to install the minecraft game. I have been trying many times. After the download of the installer (from the link of the purchase email, and from the minecraft.net download link for Windows) I press Play, and then I get a crash \ bug report. The minecraft version listed on the installer is 1.8.9. I have updated the Java on my compter as well. I have attached an image of the report. Please help me how to solve the problem. Thank you.

Hello,
I wanted to update that the recomended steps didn't solve my problem. I did find another solution online where it states that I have an old graphics card that won't play a version of 1.7.4 or higher. I chose a lower version in the profile, 1.7.2, and the game opened. I would receommend that to other users as a possible solution if they experience the same error as I did.

I guess we won't be able to use the newer versions until the game developers come up with some kind of solution.
