Skeletons shoot themselves whilst using NoGravity-tag

Whilst using the NoGravity tag, skeletons occasionally shoot themselves.

What I expected to happen was...:
The skeletons just shoot at me and take no damage by that.

What actually happened was...:
The skeletons take damage themselves whilst trying to shoot me. Interesting here is the fact that they can damage themselves AND the player with the same arrow and shot.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set up a repeating commandblock with the command "entitydata @e {NoGravity:1b}"
2. Activate it
3. Spawn in some skeletons
4. Switch into survival mode
5. Notice, how they sometimes shoot themselves.

Are you sure that you aren't making the Arrows have the NoGravity tag set to 0? If you are, it might be related to your previous bug report as you previous bug report said that entities don't move when having their NoGravity tag set to 0.

Good point. Yes, it could be related to the arrows having the NoGravity-Tag and maybe they bug a bit right in the moment they are assigned this tag (which is directly when they're shot). However I think you misunderstood the other bugreport: I said that entities based on hitbox-interactions (like bottle o' enchanting, arrows...) stop working when they don't move anymore - which is when for example they fly a quite long distance using the NoGravity-Tag.

Can be closed as resolved. Didn't think of the thorns armor I was wearing. I'm sorry for wasting your time.
