Horse & Donkey Lead Glitch in 1.9.4

When I log on to my localhost server, the horses appear to have no lead attached to them. I have re-logged but the glitch still occurs. When I right click the horse with the lead, I mount the horse and also have a fake lead attached to the horse or donkey.
