Source @p is unknown - when doing /playsound

When I do this commmand: "/playsound random.orb @p ~ ~ ~ 100"
it says "Source @p is unknown". The command follows the correct syntax that the /help command says, and would work in 1.9...

The syntax is

playsound <sound> <source> <player> [x] [y] [z] [volume] [pitch] [min-volume]

Source is new in 1.9.

If /help states the old syntax, then the language you use isn't proppery updated, making this a translation request.

I am in English (US), which is the default language and stuff...

Also, what is <source> asking for? Is it a selector?

Are you using any resource pack then?
The en_US lists:

commands.playsound.usage=/playsound <sound> <source> <player> [x] [y] [z] [volume] [pitch] [minimumVolume]

source = master, block, hostile, ambient, neutral, weather, music, voice
You can tab auto-complete it.
It determines by what slider the sound should be affected.
