Place block crashes game

I was messing around with the new stackable entitiy features and I spawned an enderman riding a pig with a saddle. I moved away from them and the enderman despawnned so I went to kill the pig. I dug a hole to trap the pig to kill it easier and then pushed it in the hole. As soon as I killed it I went to fill in the hole and the game crashed!
