As you can see in the attached mp4, when trying to place the command block, my offhand slot instead eats the food showing that when I right click it does not place it. I have tried placing other blocks and it works as intended ( I am not in adventure game mode).
I don't know if this is intended but either way it is a very big problem for my command blocks in survival world.
