Desert Superflat Preset has its Sandstone/Stone layer amounts mixed up.

I was thinking about how the Sandstone and Stone Generate in Default worlds and applying it to this preset when I realized the possibility of a bug. This has apparently been going on since snapshot 12w37a (I blame Dinnerbone - typical of him. 😉 ), so I'm surprised people haven't figured this out and reported it already.

It is a very simple matter to permanently fix, as far as I know. In the meantime, players can have a per-world fix by making the Sandstone generate in 3 layers and the Stone generate in 52.

Screenshot of them being "mixed up", please.

I still can't believe I hadn't noticed this bug until now, seeing how 1.4.2 was when I started playing, and that millions of others haven't noticed or have shrugged it off.

Unable to reproduce in 16w32b.

This isn't really a bug: it's referring to how the Desert preset is configured, compared to how normal Minecraft desert terrain generates. He is proposing that the Desert preset be changed to "3;minecraft:bedrock,52*minecraft:stone,3*minecraft:sandstone,8*minecraft:sand;2;village,biome_1,decoration,stronghold,mineshaft,dungeon" in order to mimick the normal terrain.
