Banners not showing within render distance

My banner do not show after about 3 to 4 chuncks my render distance is at 24, my RAM etc is not the problem, because I have 16Gb. The banners just wont render after a certain distance. Maybe this is done on perpose, but please do make it an option for the people who have pc's that can handle the extra bit of fantastic gameplay. (I play Multiplayer by the way maybe that makes the difference?)
