Shulker Boxes and Hoppers crash

placed hoppers in a line that lead into a chest. Placing shulker boxes on top of each hopper crashed the game

I expected for the hoppers to just suck out whatever was in the shulker boxes and move them to the chest

Once I placed the second shulker box, the game immediately crashed

1. Place hoppers in a line leading to a double chest
2. Place Shulker Box on top of the hopper farthest from the chest
3. placed another shulker box on top of the second hopper. the game crashed when i tried shift clicking on top of the hopper

If it helps at all, both shulker boxes were filled completely with ender pearls, and the destination chest was about halfway filled with enderpearls
