when ever i join a server about 10 seconds later i get disconnected from the server like when you get kicked but instead of saying i got kicked i get this error thing: internal exception: java.net.socketexception: software caused connection abort: recv failed
I have tried reinstalling minecraft java and removing hamachi and other stuff but none of it worked. I know its not my internet thing because when i went to my friends house it still happened (i brought my laptop there)
I can still join lan worlds without this happening
it happens with 1.4, 1.5 and snapshots, any version prior to 1.4 works.

why the junk is this issue say it is RESOLVED??? MOJANG this issue is not resolved because there is not a proper way to fix it as of yet. we all know that it is K9 that is causing the problem (well at least those of us that use K9) maybe you should contact BlueCoat and team up with them to get this issue resolved because frankly it is very annoying because i cannot play SMP and that is the best way to play Minecraft.
This may be the problem with your firewall or your anti-virus
Please try to add javaw.exe to the exceptions for those
This may also be the problem caused by the server having mods installed that you do not, since you said it does not happen using a modpack, which is the most likely cause of a packet exception.
