When throwing Snowballs, particles of landed snowball appear in the face

NOTE: This is NOT a duplicate of MC-88491 as the projectile doesn't actually hit the player and travels on.
Also was NOT present in the 1.10.2 version but in the following snapshots.

When thrwoing a/n egg/snowball particles of the projectile hitting an object appear in the location of the players head.
It's easiest to spot this in the 3rd person view.

Testing was done in a DEFAULT world generated with the related snapshot.
