redstone not working as it should

There are a few problems with redstone for example when injecting redstone power with a repeater on a block, the redstone torch on the same block does not get unpowered; some pistons do not responds; most of the times redstone dust does not get powered with a signal... Even redstone clocks does not work.

From the second image, it is a hidden staircase that worked perfectly before those two snapshot

This got fixed in 16w43a, but the redstone that's stuck needs a block update, either remove the power and re-power it, or place a block next to it.

I did a few times when 16w43a was released but it did not work and those images were taken in 16w43a

Like I said, for the first image remove and place the redstone block or repeater.
