Angry Iron Golems

When in a village that I had began in the snapshot phases of 1.11, I had planted many different plants in the gardens around the village. Now, the village has grown, and even added six Iron golems. However, when I try to farm some of the crops, and re-plant them, the golems become angered and attack me! I built 1/2 of the village! How is this fair golems!? ;( I'm not sure if this is a bug or an updated feature, but it is relay annoying. Please remove this. It relay sets me back.

Did you hit the Iron Golem or any villagers?

Thanks for asking, and no. I went back multiple times to confirm, and each time, I only hit the garden. Then, the golems would run up to me and murder my avatar.

Odd. Now the golems don't mind. I'm not sure if this is a bug that only occurs on occasion, or if it was some odd glitch. Whatever it was, I will keep an eye on the golems and update this post if the golems go rouge again.

Iron Golems should attack the player when he has a bad popularity in the village. You can decrease it attacking villagers and killing golems. Are you sure you didn't hit any of them?
Also the golems can stop attacking you because the village's popularity was reset (MC-97866).

I am certain SunCat. I even have some vilagers that have entered the basement of my home. I have never hit a single one of them. The closest one at the time was on the other side of the water in the farm about 7 blocks away.

Are you sure that the farm is outside of the radius of the village?

The village center is the geometric center point, or "average coordinates" of all the doors. The village radius is the distance from this center point to the furthest door, or 32 blocks, whichever is greater.
