[MC-110879] Death message when killed by multiple entities in 1 place displays weird symbols

I was on my realm in 1.11 and used an elytra launcher. my elytra didn't engage and i fell into the boats I started taking damage and was eventually killed. The death message was very weird. I have included 2 screenshots showing the death message

We do not have enough information to find the cause of this issue.
Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report ([minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder]) here.

Once attached, the report will be reopened automatically.

I'd guess you use the UK english translation. There seems to be some issues with this. Try to change to US english instead.

However, I'm not sure if the Elytra launcher is even a "feature" itself...
