Yeah, you just took my words out of my brain, Violine!
Try keep in mind that this place is forΒ BUG REPORTS and not for status requests. Keep calm and wait until it might get fixed. At least the bug is CONFIRMED .. and that might mean it is or will be worked on.Β π
If I understand it correctly, the reason for the reported behaviour is already found. It's not limited to Windows or 32bit OS, since it can also affect a non-GUI 64bit Linux multiplayer server.Β
Another thing: yeah, not everybody can afford a new PC to play Minecraft, but sadly this is the way of all things. It's called evolution.Β :-/
not really... it's still only a server, it has no graphics card and it runs Ubuntu Linux. However, all the components are a little out of date, since this VM host didn't upgrade in the last 5 years.Β :-/
Yeah... only 2 cores. That's what one gets when using a "cheap" vServerΒ to save some money.Β π
@Urielsalis: that's weird. In my case it's a 64bit server (See MC-137634). How many "more threads" are there??
After checking all of the linked (marked as duplicate) issues in MC-137353, I would think that this is not a duplicate.
1) This is NOT Windows, it's Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
2) This is NOT a game client, it's run as server on a dual core vServer
3) This is NOT 32bit, since "uname -m" responds with "x86_64"
4) Java runs as 64bit, too
5) The "workaround" doesn't work at all
One thing I don't understand is: why do modded servers (I know, no modded support) with 3GB RAM applied start and without any problems, but the Vanilla JAR of 1.13.2 doesn't even start with 1GB, saying something about "not enough RAM".
My ticket (MC-137634) got marked as duplicate, but I'm not st sure about it. None of the workarounds did work; and it's a 64bit server (running 64bit Java), so I don't think it's 32bit related...
How does it act when using Java 8?? I might be wrong, but I remember that Minecraft isn't meant to run on Java 10...Β
I'd guess you use the UK english translation. There seems to be some issues with this. Try to change to US english instead.
However, I'm not sure if the Elytra launcher is even a "feature" itself...
Wrong place for suggestions. Please use other ways to do so, like reddit for example. π
I'd say they are more demon related than undead... Like imps.
For me it looks like this multiplayer server world seems to be corrupted... Is single player working correctly??
Well, this ISN'T a bug... It's more a feature, that works as intended. π
When you enable surround sound, but plugin only Headphones, then the rear channels are missing.
hehe, you just said it: driver defaults!
γ(γ)γ
This sounds like an issue with your system's sound settings!
I've just checked the www, and found an article which states, that Minecraft is able to use surround sound!!
If your system has "5.1" enabled, but you are only using your headphones, than this might be the issue.
Could you check this please? π
Suggestion: try to lower the process priority from "normal" to "less than normal" or even down to the lowest value. You can find this in your task manager. Well, at least it helped me! π
Confirmed for 16w44a to be still present.
Thanks... Didn't find an issue that was fitting my problem.
Didn't know that this problem is THAT old already and still unfixed!!!
Confirmed for recent 1.14 beta (19w07a).
Even manually editing the NBT tag doesn't work...
When entering /data modify entity <entityID> CanBreakDoors set value 1b
the answer is "Modified entity data of Drowned", but it still stays at 0b.
The question is: are Drowned even supposed to be able to break doors?
If no, why do they have the tag?
