[MC-11283] Log hit box doesn't immedietly disappear

Whenever I hit break a log block, while looking up, the hitbox remains for about half a second before disappearing, instead of disappearing right away.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but is that not the hitbox of the next log?

The hitbox seems to be in front of the particles, but is in fact the hitbox of the next log.
