When hovering over items in chests and shulker boxes, none of the names or data of the item will appear (ie durability, name, or enchantments

I noticed this the other day while looting an End City dungeon. I tried it in various worlds and in different game modes, and in all cases, no data or text would pop up while hovering over any of the items.
This is a big issue for me because I have an enchanted book chest, and I can no longer tell what each book is, unless I take it out and then open up my inventory separately.
This may have something to do with the fix of the inventory pop-ups and the crafting guide pop- ups not being consistent in 17w13b
