After accessing my Ender Chest in my survival world, I noticed that the interior texture of the Ender Chest was showing through the top of the chest. The glitch only occurs at a specific angle while right next to the Ender Chest. Attached is a picture with the F3 menu open to show the angle my character is positioned in.

Here is the crash report as requested. After submitting the orignal report, I closed Minecraft shortly after, so this crash report is from a different instance (hopefully that doesn't change anything, as you mentioned this may be graphics card related). Additionally, I seem to be unable to reproduce the glitch again even after teleporting to the precise position the glitch occured at myself. I am guessing that there may be another factor involved in the glitch (leaving the game open for long, traveling between dimensions, etc.)
Is this still an issue in the most recent versions (currently that is 1.12.2, or the latest 1.13 development snapshot 18w22c) of Minecraft? If so, please update the affected versions and help us keeping this ticket updated from time to time. If you are the owner/reporter of this ticket, you can modify the affected version(s) yourself.
I can't reproduce even with those specific coords (
/tp @p -718.398 66 -150.762 168.3 36.0
,/setblock -719 66 -152 minecraft:ender_chest facing=south
). However, there is a prior report of similar behavior (MC-98341).Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report (
[minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder]
) here. Since it's possible that this behavior is graphics-card dependent, a forced crash will help diagnose.Quick links:
