[MC-117288] The game crashed whilst updating screen events Error: java.lang.NullPointerException: Updating screen events

Game crashes while attempting to craft items. As soon as item is removed from crafting table, game crashes and items are lost.

Are you opening the crafting grid before accessing the crafting book? If so, possible dupe of MC-117211

I have also experienced the same problem. Also I have attached my crash report to the above attachments option.

I believe this is a minor mistake and that it could easily be fixed.
