I was messing with a ladder and when a was doing that I put a block above it and it broke

when placing/breaking a block above a ladder the lader breaks

When placing a ladder and placing another one directly above or below it, all of the ladders break that are on the wall. There is a possibility that they are duplicating as well, but I switched into creative to check what was going on so that may have caused the duplication since I am unable to repeat the duping in survival.
