When going into the "pause" menu in a single-player world the game will respond with odd behavior when the player (user) had jumped before pressing the pause button (esc).
It looks like everything is teleported back to one place but still moves, but it "teleports" everything fast enough not to move further.
This also applies to entitys that are moving.
