Buttons are Works As Inteded.

why cant i put buttons on glass then? nonsolid block that doesnt conduct power but has a solid surface... same as a piston pretty much

because glass's faces aren't considered solid, an unextended piston's are.

can this bug pleas be confirmed it must be fixed soon

That you can place support needing blocks on unextended pistons is intended; that they pop off when extending/retracting is the desired behavior, see MC-93631.
