MC-118368 On Minecraft 1.12, there was an issue with the beds. The beds, when you went to where a bed was previously placed, aren't visible. You have to remove the bed(s), and then place them for them to show again. Resolved

Is this still an issue in the most recent versions (currently that is 1.12.2, or the latest 1.13 development snapshot 18w07c) of Minecraft?

Resolved as Cannot Reproduce unless this can be reproduced by placing beds in a release version and not in a snapshot.
