On Minecraft 1.12, there was an issue with the beds. The beds, when you went to where a bed was previously placed, aren't visible. You have to remove the bed(s), and then place them for them to show again.

You have to remove the bed(s), and then place them for them to show again. On the attachment below, I included a screenshot of what I was talking about. Where my had is is where there is an invisible bed, and there's one more to the left of it.
