[MC-119230] My game has been laggy for about a year.

Whenever I play, i start moving for about 2 seconds smoothly, then it freezes and is very laggy. I don't know what to do! A few months ago I had a virus on my computer and I got rid of it. Do you think my game is affected by this? Please help.

Maybe try deleting Minecraft off your computer and downloading it again. This shouldn't delete your worlds, texture packs, or settings as that data should be kept in your .minecraft folder.
