I have a world where I disabled gold spawning with the "Customize World" Feature, and in a Mesa I found, gold still was spawning

(At least i think) the mesa biome has separate code for for gold generaton

That thing you said it was a duplicate of, is not the same thing as I am saying

The reason is the same: ore generation that depends on biomes can't be customized.
