[MC-119800] Items dropped after a big explosion float in the air

When you blow up tnt from Y:1 to Y:255 from the top, and you wait for it to explode, there are some stone and dirt items floating in the air.
To replicate:
1.do /fill ~1 1 ~ ~1 255 ~ tnt
2. light the tnt at Y:255 from a side, not the top.
3. wait for it to explode.
4.go down and look at the damage.

However, this issue has been closed as Invalid.

Your game, launcher or server is modified.
If you can reproduce the issue in a vanilla environment, please recreate the issue.

Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.
If you have problems on large servers, such as The Hive and Hypixel, please contact them first as they run modified server software.

If you're playing minecraft with a lot of mods on slower PC, things like this are going to happen. Try allocating more memory to minecraft or using optifine. It might help.
