If I provoke Enderman (by staring at it) and I am on the ground (made by me, FYI) that is (well (or not)) above the map-generated ground, Enderman is not able to kill me nor teleport to me.
The pictures show Enderman angry, proving it was stared at, and also show that it couldn't get to the ground I was standing on.
What do you expect it to do? Endermen can't jump or teleport infinitely high.
