You can make a Swastika using light blue terracotta patterns. might be known but i couldnt find anything on it. that could be seen as fairly racist, might want to change that texture. (it is backwards but its obvious still)
What I expected to happen was...:
A nice pattern of terracotta. (using a resource pack but its un-updated so terracotta is still the default pattern.
What actually happened was...:
Found a swastika in the pattern.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Put a step by step guide on how to trigger the bug here
2. ... just a pattern on light blue terracotta. not hard to miss really.
3. ...

Okay, but i do want to point out that i saw this easily and the first thing that popped into my head was "I wonder if this is intended." i doubt it is but I wouldn't want anyone thinking the game is racist. Your choice im just giving information. thanks for your time.
While I agree that the swastika is a racist symbol which should not be visible everywhere, the mirrored swastika visible on the terracotta is so invisible that it would simply be more effective to build one out of dirt if you really want there to be one in your world (which won't be prevented as that would be too excessive censoring).
I'd like to point out that the swastika is just a symbol, and used in a language; that you link it to the holocaust is your doing, not the symbol's.
alright then. I know it has multiple meanings but most people link it to the Nazis and the Holocaust. I have no issue with it as it is very small, but i dont want to see people getting offended at things, you know how easily people can be offended... welp thanks for looking at it.
Okay, here are my points. I know you probably aren't going to change this but I feel I need to say anyway.
1: This Swastika is a symbol with multiple meanings, but if someone were to go up to you and say "Swastika" what would you think of first? Did you say Buddhism? I didn't think so. Did you say Nazism? Exactly, making FVbico's point invalid.
2: That symbol stands for something that the majority of mankind is against. If this was an unknown texture to Mojang then it would be acceptable, but since I have reported it and you have refused to do anything against it is pretty bad.
3: So many people died in the Holocaust. It was genocide, which is a crime against humanity. There is a countless amount of people that would be offended to see something they built have the symbol that represents something like the Holocaust.
4: In the time this has taken to write and argue about, this issue could have been fixed. I am no resource pack designer, but my friend has taken over the popular resource pack Ozocraft (with permission from the previous owner, Ozo) and she knows that it isn't too difficult. Are all the possible/imminent issues that I have given really worth it? Would it not be easier just to fix this?
I understand that I have no place to make decisions about this game like that, but the people who play on the server I am staff on know that they can make this, and I really don't want anyone abusing this and causing offence and other issues. Is it really too much to ask to fix this?
oh and, 5: I wasn't looking for a Swastika. Not really something i do. Who goes out and looks for racist symbols? Just because I am the one who reported it, doesn't mean I am the only one who can find it. I am still just a regular player who has the same chance of finding it as any other player. If i "really want to see a swastika in there" then I wouldn't have tried to get rid of it.
I agree, but this applies to people living in Western countries only.
I agree to the first sentence, but more in point 4.
I agree.
This is the most difficult point. When something has rotational symmetry, it will most certainly result in a (somewhat distorted) swastika. Fixing all possible swastikas in a creative game is almost impossible. If you got a default texture that has been tweaked a little to not show a swastika in this case, feel free to post it here. No guarantee that the Mojang employees will actually replace it though.
To be fair, I needed to stare at your screenshot for a few minutes to really see the swastika. Most people won't notice if noone tells them there is a swastika.
This looks rather far-fetched to me. You have to really want to see a swastika in there.
