I built a wheat farm at the back of my house and it is still there but there was also one in the front of my house that I never built. This is strange because I'm nowhere near a village. Also a large amount of block were missing in the back of my house and I could see right down to lava. I did not make this. I'm playing in an extreme hills biome.

Is this on multiplayer? If so it may have been another player.

This along with the possibly duplicated wheat farm sounds like a possible chunk duplication / scrambling issue.

But are you sure you didn't just forgot where you placed it? And are you playing on a Multiplayer server?
