There was no crash report and the following is all that was in the game output log:
12:57:25 launcher Preparing to launch minecraft client for 17w43a

12:57:25 launcher Starting!
12:57:25 launcher Using default game log configuration client-1.12.xml (outputs XML)
Unfortunately that's all the information I have about the crash. If I find anything else I'll edit my report with the new information.

It's incomplete because the game SIMPLY DID NOT CREATE A CRASH LOG. And yes, I did change the window resolution of the game in profile settings. I'll add this to the ticket and try again with window resolution set to default.
i have the same issue with 17w45a, the crash is so quick that it doesn't generate a crash report or a log

Did you change the window-resolution of the game in the profile settings?
