"Unknown score holder" when using the placeholder * in some commands

The old command syntax allowed the use of a * placeholder to represent all the entities tracked by the scoreboard.
But now none of those command seem to support this placeholder, they all give the same syntax error :

"Unknown score holder '*' "

/scoreboard players list *
/scoreboard players set * sco 1
/team join tea *

Exception for this one who say : Invalid name or uuid

/tag * list
