[MC-12432] Rain sounds do not play in 1.5.1 Pre-Release

In the 1.5.1 Pre-Release the rain sounds do not play, all the other sounds effects such as doors opening and closing and cows mooing all still play.

Works for me in 1.5.1-pre with /toggledownfall on Linux.

Cannot reproduce.
Maybe your "rain sound" is corrupt.

How to fix corrupt sound files:

Stop Minecraft
Relete .minecraft\resources
Restart Minecraft and open a game
Sound files will be downloaded in the background which will take several minutes
