I bought a brand new gaming laptop a few days ago and the first thing I did was install Minecraft. It worked fine for the first day and a half and then it wouldn't load my world. Now it wont even get past the Mojang screen before freezing up. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it twice with the same result.

I've been having the same problem, where at the Mojang screen, and only at the Mojang screen, will it say not responding, and for any version of Minecraft. For me, this problem is specifically for the new launcher, using the old one works fine. Pressing F3 + C does not force a crash, as it is not responding. If it did I would have attached the crash report. This problem only started about two or three days ago. Edit: I noticed in task manager under processes it said Minecraft launcher was still running. When I click it and hit end task, I can progress past the Mojang screen.
