When I create a Large biomes world in 18w06a and start traveling it, the game almost immediately crashes. Maybe something to do with the new world generation system?

I just generated 3 Ice Plains worlds in a row yesterday, and when I kept crashing assumed the bug was with large biomes.
Incomplete without a crash report from (minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt). Please attach it to this ticket so that we can diagnose your issue.
Cannot reproduce.
Are you in an Ice Plains ecology(see MC-124903)?
