I can't click on any buttons whatsoever. My mouse doesn't change to the hand but just stays as the arrow therefore I cannot choose singleplayer, multiplayer etc.
Please can you solve this?

Quinten I am not using a mouse but instead the built in mousepad

Try remove the computer mouse and plug it back in.
