[MC-12559] Cant open chests while holding boat in hand

If you put a boat in your hand and right click a chest you cant open it.

I've never been able to do that... what's the problem? just don't have a boat in your hand and you're ok...

Mods as OP pointed out in MC-1316.
This ticket is invalid as it relates to a modded or 3rd party client/server.

Any non-standard client/server build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the plugin creator.
This site is for addressing issues related to the base unmodded MineCraft.

Also, I highly doubt that the Mojang team said "Hmm... I've got it! You shouldn't be able to open a chest with a boat in your hand!"
